New York Islanders

In late 2022, I was approached by the creative department of the New York Islanders who offered me the opportunity to design some new secondary brand assets for the team. My main task was to create a simplified mark for the team while staying true to the style and history of the brand.

The Finals

After undergoing a thorough design process, the team ultimately selected three designs to move forward with. These designs feature bold monograms and a classic wordmark that pay homage to the traditional style of sports design.

Honourable Mentions

Throughout the design process, I explored a variety of concepts beyond the initial three designs that the team eventually selected.  Although these designs did not make the final cut, the design explorations enabled me to push the boundaries of the team's brand identity and explore new design possibilities.
